Approach

This trail is accessed via the Railroad Bed Trail or by the Berry Mountain Trail which goes out the ridge-line.

Route Description

This trail goes up a steep powerline cut on the north side of Berry Mountain's ridge-line. The trail is very steep in some places as it switches back and forth up the ridgeline. It is definitely a good workout on the legs. Views from the trail towards town and across the valley are fairly nice, but the best views are from the very top of the trail. The total distance of the trail is approximately one mile each way with 800 feet of elevation gain.

Essential Gear

Comfortable hiking boots, snack/water, trekking poles, and a camera.
