Anya,

It looks like there is snow on the loop road. How low did the snow get? Did it come down to Vegas?
Love the new group of the photos,

Re: Anya,

Yes, I heard on the news that it snowed in some parts of the town, but unfortunately not where we are. Hadrian would have been much happier with the snow. He hates rain.
I'm glad you enjoyed the photos.

Golly Anya,

That's a lot of snow for the peaks of southern Nevada !!!

Hopefully, that will add some water to Lake
Mead, and possibly make the boaters happy!

Re: Golly Anya,

Yes, I hope so Larry. There is so much water flowing in Pince Creek right now, you can hear it from a distance. With all the snow melting, there should be a great spring with lots of wildflowers and waterfalls. I can hardly wait.
Thank you for the comment. How is the weather in AZ?

Re: Well ,

With a topography as varied as Arizona, you're going to get a "mixed bag" as far as the snow goes.

For example, I heard that the White Mountains of eastern AZ got 8 feet of accumulated snow from those storms of last week.

The mountains of central AZ, above 6,900 ft,
got 5 feet of snow, which is more than what
they got for at least 5 years.

So, the picture remains bright for Nature
filling up the lakes & reservoirs this year!

Re: Well ,

Thanks for the update Larry. We got more rain here these last few days than in the entire 2009.

best pano

I've tried taking panos from many places; that looks like about the best I've seen of RRCNCA, including all the major peaks.

Re: best pano

Thanks. It's a nice comment especially that it is coming from someone who excells at making panoramas. I very seldom do panoramas because I want the sky to look perfect. If it doesn't and if you can see in the sky where the stitch is I get so annoyed and delete everything.
Cheers.
