| Up the east side from Big Meadow after Taylor Dome in the morning. There was 3-6" fresh snow on the ground from the previous week's and day's storm, but it was melted off in the area east of Manter Meadow. | |

| Fun day out from Big Meadow. Hadn't seen anyone during the approach and then right at the start of the climb - BAM! some dude was there. I'm sure it was out of left field for both of us. I stopped and let him enjoy the summit alone. Then went up after he decended. | |

| No problems with route-finding on the return visit, although I have to wonder now why I didn't look around the northwest side of the peak when I struggled last year... it's pretty darned easy (even easier than the east side, which seemed spicier than I remembered). I love this area... I'll need to come back again for some of the technical climbs and harder scrambles on Church Dome, Bart Dome, Stegosaurus Fin, etc. | |
