Got the permit in Sedro Wooley from a skeptical Ranger at 3 in the afternoon. "Late in the day for this climb".    Off we went to trailhead, climbing to lower camp before dark . Rained during the night, got up twice to see if weather was improving. At 8 AM we decided to get our gear and hike up to glacier and just kept going to improving skies. There was a large group camped at the upper camp, but no one moving.  We had the entire mountain to ourselves.  On the  summit about 2ish PM, puffy skies with some views coming and going to constantly changing clouds.  Back down and to camp near dark, packed up with headlamps the whole way out.  Never been up this side of the mountain and enjoyed the simple, picturesque route with no traffic on the pyramid. crevasses were opening, couple of jumps with reasonable navigation. Lots of running water above the lower camp to glacier. The usual: great climb, not technical, but very rewarding with trusted friends, Omar and Nick.
