Stickbug found near McCoy Hollow in Mammoth Cave National Park. She was originally hiding in leaf litter but somehow my daughter spotted her off the trail. Then she was kind enough to move over to this rock and strike a pose.

Yours is cool too, better camouflaged than mine.

I've never seen one with these colors either. I'll confess I did a little digital work to enhance them from the original under-exposed shot, but actually what you see here is pretty close to what we saw in life.
