Summit of Mount Emma

The summit rock blocks were covered with deep snow, which was excellent for snow climbing - hard. The walk along the ridge felt safe.
Mount Emma elevation: 13,581 feet = 4139 meters

I know that in some cases, when snow is cold, they get it among their warm fingers. It melts there, turns into ice again. Then they start bleeding and it must hurt. I hope that was not the case on this tour ;)

	Hasn't voted	I was checking her paws and she had no ice there, and no bleeding. But, she was definitively having some pain, and moved slower than usual (only until she spotted a marmot, then she took off). I felt bad for her, but then she loves being outdoors so much. She is doing great today. Thanks.

	Voted 10/10	Definitely NOT a dog expert, but the pads of her paws could have been a bit numb. Was this the Tourist Route or the Dog Route ?

	Hasn't voted	Thanks Larry, Duchess is a good dog, she never complains, unless I am not sharing my food with her. It was the snow route. There was supposed to be some chimney to climb up, but we never saw it - all covered in the snow.
