Sunset over Lee Vining Sierra

Sunset over Lee Vining Sierra

Silhouettes can be deceiving. The peak in the middle is 11,690' (Lee Vining Peak) while the peak on the right (Williams Butte) is much closer and only 8,431'. June 25, '09

Re: sunset

Thanks Liba! Eastern Sierra thunderstorms always leave you with striking sunsets.

WOW...

...nothing else I can say. Well, maybe I could say it would be cool to see you do an album of all of your sky shots...

Re: WOW...

The mountains were covered in thunderstorms all day which left a very rich sunset with the evening break up.
Thanks props. The album is a good idea. I'll let you know if I do it.
