Two hikes with fine views of Mt. Shasta Drove up Saturday afternoon and hiked Black Butte that evening. Camped by the boulder strewn South Fork of the Sacramento River. Drove up to Castle Lake and hiked up to Heart Lake and back on Sunday. It was super hot. In the 90's most of the day both days. Mt. Shasta is 14,162'. Images
