Crampons, Ice Axe & Helmet needed

Hi,

We just climbed Malinche today and snow/ice conditions requiere the use of Crampons, Ice Axe, Helmet and a rope if you are seriuos about reaching the summit.

The slope ranges from 35 fo 45 degrees with hard snow and ice.
In some parts the crampons just bite the snow a making it hard for a self arrest.

I live at the base of Malinche and I will try to post when conditions return to normal.
