Wild Mushrooms

Wild Mushrooms

Mushrooms seen on the west face of Bonneville Peak in southeast Idaho. They grew near an area of melting snow at 8,300 feet elevation in late May. I don't know what kind they are but if anyone else does feel free to let me know.

You're right, no animals wanted to eat these mushrooms for some reason so it was probably wise to stay away from them.
