Good work. I look forward to more images when you have them Cheers William
This is a very good page! The Guadalupe Mountains is an area that I would love to visit someday.
Excellent page. post more photos if you got 'em!
Nicely put-together page! Maybe put "(TX)" after El Capitan, as done by some others on SP where ambiguity might be an issue. Interesting how much (at least from the signature photo) it resembles the Captain in California!
Nice job with this page: for that matter, all of the peaks in the Guadalupe Mountains. You've got some real high-quality pictures of them. Thanks for putting the Guads on the map for this site!
Yeah, from what we could tell, jumping the gun and getting out of Pine Springs Canyon early was a good thing.
Actually, some of us are going to be down there in late December - if you're at Guadalupe then, it'd be cool to join you up El Cap.
Informative, well presented and great pics. The signature photo is really nice!
Great page, Barry!
Good Job. Cheers!
My nephew climbed this one a few years ago. I need to post some of the photos he took at the site.
Now I forget.... somewhere on SP, someone (maybe it was you! *shrug*) said "this peak reminds me of El Capitan", with a link to your page. Nice looking peak!
Great job, attm! One of om's ill-mannered comments on the message board brought me to this page. Texas doesn't look flat to me!
Impressive nice mountain in Texas! And fine photos!
Nicely done. I hope to check out W Texas soon and this one is at the top of the itinerary.
This page needs more information.
I don't see any information at all on how to climb the peak.
Looks great! The best part of El Capitan is actually underground!
Thanks, Rat. Tell me more about the caverns under El Cap...I'll be happy to add a section. Or...why don't you add an article on these limestone caverns attached to the page! That would be fantastic! -Sarah
