This is a small book that details out day hiking trails for both the South Rim and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.It lists 6 easy day hikes for the South Rim and 11 easy day hikes for the less traveled North Rim.
It includes day hikes along the top of the rim as well as day hikes below the rim.
Each hike includes a general description, distance, average hiking time, type of trail (i.e. dirt, paved, etc.), trailhead elevation, high point, elevation gain, water availability, best season to hike it, a list of topo maps that pertain to the hike as well as directions to the trailhead. Even after all of that information, it gives you a more detailed description of the hike as well as key mileage points.

Not bad...
...for what it is written for: Quick reference to easy day hikes. Don't get this if looking for something more comprehensive.

Nicely doneThe beauty of these particular series of books is that they are extremely compact so you can easily slip them in your back pocket or backpack while doing the hikes listed in them.
