Product Description

These light-duty, waterproof, synthetic leather mountaineering boots are equally comfortable on extended alpine treks and peak bagging expeditions.

Polyurethane leather and nylon uppers provide waterproof durability, support and flexibility

Seam-sealed Gore-Tex® linings deliver renowned waterproof, breathable comfort

Three-bar knit nylon linings wick moisture and dry quickly

Gusseted tongues keep out moisture and trail grit; full rubber randing protects toes and uppers from bumps and abrasion

Padded, contoured nylon collars wrap comfortably around your ankles for support and protection

Removable, dual-density EVA footbeds cushion your feet, control heat build-up and wick perspiration

Bimodal 5 polyurethane/fiberglass insoles give the right amount of forefoot flex while still providing torsional rigidity

Lightweight EVA midsoles absorb shock and provide all-day cushioning
Durable Vibram® Mulaz rubber outsoles are compatible with most strap-on and hybrid crampons and perform well on any terrain

Outsole lug design offers excellent traction and stability on uneven terrain

These boots have been all around in the wet cascade snow. I have done Baker in the summer in them and I was the only one who had dry feet on the way out (everyone else had heave duty plastic boots). They stay dry after several days in wet snow every time.

The comfort for approach hikes is unbeatable over plastic boots. On smaller mountains where there is a long trail approach these beat the crap out of cumbersome plastic boots.
