Product Description

These are an all-synthetic athletic sock, which is a perfect match for hiking in trail-runners or a light hiker. They vent moisture and keep friction to a minimum. They are especially handy if your shoes aren't waterproof as wet cotton socks quickly become a nightmare.

At time of writing they run $14.99 for a 4 pair pack. You can find them at many 'regular' sporting good stores.

So I went looking for some all-synthetic running socks for my low-tops and I was a bit skeptical about the price, because I had seen better deals on Under Armor socks in a bigger box. Looking around the store I found that none of the other athletic socks were all-synthetic so I gave them a try.

Not only did my hiking shoes rub my feet way less with these on, but I caught a whole footfull of meltwater in Lassen NP and my foot felt normal again after 15 minutes hiking.

When I wear them in the gym my feet stay cool and the socks come out dry when my cotton socks come out mildly damp. so all in all I think they were worth the $14.99 and will keep putting them through abuse on the trail.
