Untitled Review
A solid built tent with adequate room for three people, but most comfortable with two. A great shelter in bad weather and will take a beating although I did have it collapse in a particularly bad wind storm.
Not the easiest to put up in bad weather and a bit heavy for just two climbers.

Excellent tent under harsh conditions. Used it on Aconcagua under 60 mph gust of wind at 5840m camp 2 and it did fine. Great for two with packs. Nice vestibules.

Have used my tent a couple of times. Although, not yet for its supposedly intended use - expedition use. So, can't really comment on how it performs at altitudes 22000 and above.
Couple of friends had gone to the Talimena Scenic drive in the Ouashita National Forest, on the border of AR and OK. It rained heavily that night, and this tent was the only one which withstood the rain. All the other tents (3 of them) were either filled with water or flew off.
The only drawback I can mention is that the weight of the tent is too much for one person to carry. Obviously for the big Himalayan expeditions, you have porters carrying the load. Would love to use it someday on one of my himalayan expedition.

Bomb proof tent
This is an excellent 4 season mountaineering tent for the weight. The double-walled design, 6 poles, pole sleeves and the numerous equalizing guy out points all add up to one hell of a bomb proof shelter. The obvious weakness of the tent is with the stakes, which are fine if you are camping on dirt. For use on ice/snow I recommend getting the TAnchors by SMC. You'll need 20 of them for the floor and all guyout lines.
The overall design is great. There are storage pockets on each of the walls, doors in both the front and back, plenty of vesibule space, and easy access to vents in the ceiling.

Great shelter
Purchased this tent for 4 season use from REI as a last years model going back for a huge discount. Only used it once in the snow with 30+ mph winds with stronger gusts and it was awesome.

Amazing Tent
This tent is great - I have the slightly larger version for taller guys, the Expedition-25, similar design...can really withstand nasty weather.

strong tent
Pros: very strong, roomy, waterproof.
Cons: hard to pitch, little heavy.
I used it during the winter mostly for alpine climbs although it is little heavy to carry and sometimes it is hard to find a flat ledge for it in the mountains. Had some problems to pitch it during winter blizzards but hopefully it was warm and protective.
It is a 3 person tent but we stood well 4 people inside and even 5 but a little crowded. little bigger than I expected.

Bomber
While this tent is heavy it's worth it if you split it up between three people and you're camping anywhere windy. Definitely practice setting this one up in a mild setting.
