never received the facebook invite, swear to god.

I've just been hearing about your midway/milestone plans at least 5 times on summitpost already so I finally cracked and decided to succumb to the strong urge to make snarky comments. Everyone is guilty of it. No hard feelings

I admire other women who get out there and kick butt....wish I could partner up with more women in the outdoors actually.

What the hell are you talking about? You were "sick of hearing" about MY plans?! How does THAT work? Because I ask for beta or mention a trip on a website that exists for such purpose, and also that was meant to be a solo, and as I live alone, there's a maximum amount of times I can mention where I will be alone for 3 days?! There must be a measure of jealousy or envy if you HAD to succumb to "snarky" comments. Tell me - what has that accomplished? You just moved closer to the bottom of my garbage can by lashing out for no personal reason other than envy. I TOO am home in bed shortly after a trip... so are countless other folks who live near the mtns they climb. Big deal! Maybe if you took more than 40 measly minutes to clean yourself you'd be a more pleasant person.
No hard feelings? Fat chance; you're an idiot thAt needs psychiatric help.

She whines publicly about wanting to get out with other women, so I gave it a try and she ignored me, THEN talks to me like shit... and whines again that she craves female companionship. ??

I can't stand folks who make trips out into the wilderness to be a contest. Do something you are proud of doing yourself... it doesn't matter what other folks do and trying to impress others is particularly foolish. There is AlWAYS someone better.

I was reminded of that just recently in good form when a buddy and me were on Shasta, plenty of folks were giving us props for spending the night up there in poor conditions. But sure enough there was another fellow who sumitted solo at 7:00 PM (the impressive part was he crossed the summit plateau at a good pace and climb up to meet us, and was totally at a restful breath as he immediately began talking to us). Then another group of five that ascended in a whiteout at 2:30 AM. They did all this while I just lay there in my sleeping bag.

But we ALL had fun.

A two day outing bagging two of the most remote peaks in the state is impressive for anyone. I hope to meet Deb sometime. I hope she is not pissed off when I do. I am fairly sure she could kick my ass before I even realized what was happening!

Ok now where is my scotch?

I actually like that song. it's the only one I know.

chad: that was a really nice post. way to put it all in perspective. it's all about having fun and doing things for yourself and just getting out there.

I really don't like it when folks write their ascent time in registers. NO ONE CARES!

OK, is "The Young and the Restless" episode over now? How about back to the photos and beta for the area? Not that I'll make it out but I like the pictures.

By the way chad, if nobody cares if someone summited in a certain amount of time, do people care how many summits someone made? Just asking.

I know you'll comment on my lack of climbing and getting out but that has nothing to with my question.
