Gerlachovský štit is the highpoint of Slovakia. Last August I wanted to climb the mountain, but found it hard to find detailed information, neither on SummitPost nor elsewhere.

The mountain page hasn't been updated for ages, and doesn't have a route overview. Misleadingly, the overview even states that there is a mountain trail to the summit - there definitely isn't.

The two easiest routes use two couloirs, the Batizovsky žl'ab and Velický žl'ab. To my surprise, the latter didn't have a page yet, so I created one.
