I wouldn't call it new age as the Native Americans were running that way many moons ago. I was taught it by Tom Brown, "The Tracker", when I took training with him in the 80s. He called it fox running. Cheers!

Thanks for the advice. Been running on my toes for about three weeks now. I think I'm finally getting used to it. My knees feel great too. Now I gotta figure out what to do about the blister on my toe.

bird wrote:So I've cut back my running dramatically over the past year. I do a 3-4 mile run every week or two, I incorporate a bit of running into HIIT training routines one or two days a week, usually about a mile of total distance, and I do 1 or 2 short interval workouts each week. I've had no knee problems, and recently set a 5K PR. My previous PR I was running 3-4 days a week 3-5 miles each time. So I've cut my mileage by more than 50% and increased performance. Gotta love it!
