Nice little adventure Josh... next time, don't forget the duct tape for your broken snowshoes!

Looks like a fun outing. Here is something new for the PNW crowd: A baker's dozen of significant winter alpine routes in the Cascades. http://www.summitpost.org/the-cascades- ... urs/754824

A couple of things I want to bring attention to here.

First:

I just finished rebuilding the Mount Thielsen Page. This is by far the most popular mountain page I own and would like it to be as good as possible, so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

Second:

I noticed a while back the peaks on the crater lake rim were incorrectly submitted as routes and not mountains. I've contacted the elves about this issue, and they agree that they should be converted to mountain pages. The Elves have contacted the owners of the Llao Rock and Hillman Peak pages to make the appropriate attachments and conversions. I adopted and rebuilt The Watchman and converted it to a mountain page. That leaves Dutton Ridge and Garfiled and Applegate Peaks, these pages need new owners to improve them and convert them to mountain pages (2skinners is long gone). If you've climbed either of these peaks and would like to adopt one of them please contact the elves.

Third:

Excitableboy- on your cascade winter climb list the link for the Big Four trip report goes dead.
