insane deal! I've never seen these on sale for that low. might be better deal than when I got my pair of Cobras for the price of one. just thought I pass this along.

not as good deal since they charge taxes and shipping, but still is a good deal. Better question is where did you get your deal on cobras?

WOW! That IS a good price. I was able to find a pair on EBAY brand new for $270. For REI that is a great deal! Scott

I was quite happy to pay $450 for mine shipped to my door, but $270 is like stealing.

Yeah, I felt a LITTLE quilty! But hey, I did spend another $40 on footbeds and $20.00 to have them fitted around some old football injuries!

If you live near an REI shipping is free to the store for you then to pick it up. Cheers!

I got mine for 300€ in France (30% off street price), and my feet have been thanking me since.

Good thing REI has that 100% satisfaction guarantee... Otherwise I probably wouldn't have grabbed a pair. We'll see where this takes me.

Supposedly that was an issue with the first generation boots. We shall see, it is an awesome feeling and climbing boot so far. Scott

Surely this means there'll be a new version of the boot soon and they're getting rid of the old ones? If so, I wonder if the new version will have any features worth paying more for?
