Nice job Josh, Only wish there was a sunset or rise to get some red in the photo. Then in would be ready for NatGeo.:))Nice photo!!
Thanks! The sunset was quite nice, but sadly could not see quite what I could here. I would have for sure missed the bus ride home if I had stayed here to get the sunset view which would have been a long walk home. But I would very much so like to capture the full view of the mountains during sunset, perhaps next time I might get lucky.
Thanks! It was neat seeing all the shadows on the mountain and the clouds rolling away eventually cleared up.
You have been displaying some great talent. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much Dan for your encouraging words! I love photography with a passion, although not quite as much as mountaineering, but I love to share what I see. And to those who have not experienced views like this, I hope to give some a taste of what it's like.
Congratulations Josh! It is very impressive! It seems as that great mountains with its cludy hut is angry with the world! Great suggestion and light!
Thanks Edoardo! For some reason when I see this photo I think of it as "In the Deep Shadows of the World". So you hit it on the money with the alternative title I considered giving this photo.
Cheers Josh Lewis
Clouds really make a mountain shot. Clear blue skies are pretty boring.
