What time of year?The word icy caught my attention. You have so many nice pics, ranging from the icy heights to the icy depths.

Re: What time of year?Thanks! I like to descend into the earth and climb on top of it! I did the Subway route in early May, which may not have been so bad if I had a wetsuit, but I didn't. The water was really cold though, and it didn't help that the air temp. was only 70 degrees or so. I hear it can be hard to get a permit for it in the dead heat of summer though, so maybe May was for the best
