A Little About Me
I'm an engineer by profession. I climb mountains for fun. I prefer to figure things out from scratch, even if that means I don't always have the best odds of reaching the summit.
My current mountaineering goal is to climb all the Andes 6000ers, entirely unguided and preferably using a self-propelled approach (i.e. by bicycle) rather than automobile. I've done 25 peaks in three expeditions since 2022, and will probably keep doing a month-long trip to South America each year in pursuit of this goal. We'll see how this shakes out when I start trying the more technical Peruvian peaks in a few years...
