Overview

Geographical classification: Western Alps > High Dauphiné Alps > Soreiller group>

This is the highest Soreiller group summit. The rock is globaly not very good but the mountain is steep and impressive. The summit is a nice point of view dominating Vénéon valley and the center of Ecrins massif.

The firs ascent has been done by Henri Cordier, Jakob Anderegg, and Andreas Maurer the 28 of June 1876.
5 days later, W.A.B Coolidge team (Almer father and sun, Pierre Gaspard) was on the summit using the classical SW ridge route. (PD)
