The last days of October 2008 are very sunny in Lower Silesia, SW Poland. Mornings are misty and cold, and sun appears later, however, the rest of the day is extremely beautiful. In the Sleza Massif beeches lost their leaves and only the youngest branches bring them still. These fallen leaves are red and brown and look like a carpet on the ground. Silvery trunks cut rays of sun. Larches are in green and yellow. Light yellow leaves of birches are falling. Firs and spruces are coloured in dark verdure. New mushrooms grow on a decaying wood. There is now a spectacular play of sunshine, shadows and colours. Take a pleasure of this season!!!
