Cantilever on top of Glyder Fach. This photo was taken in March 2006 when there were unusually good winter climbing conditions in Snowdonia.

This is a fun photo. The climbers in red in contrast to the snow really stand out.

Done the same thing on many occasions,in fact I´ve got a picture on my bookcase that I can see as I write this of me standing there. I love it up there!!!!

When I was in Wales, Glyder Fawr was definitely on my list, but surprise, surprise, it was raining in Snowdonia! Still, it was a beautiful area, and I really enjoyed Elidir Fawr and Pen Yr Ole Wen. Great photo!!

since at first glance the rime covering the rock makes it appear that you all are standing on a cantilevered block of snow!

Ooops! The cantilever stone is on Glyder Fach, the next door neighbour to Glyder Fawr!
