Lost Creek Canyon

Lost Creek Canyon

Lost Creek Canyon: I, WI4+ - The rock walls in the lower part of the canyon always contain ice during winter. No routes are mentioned in any books. During most years the ice is over 50 feet high. This year has been stormy and cold so the ice has formed over three tiers making it much higher. It faces toward the sun so the best time to climb in this area is from January to mid-February

Awesome canyon

and peak! Have you ever been up
the other Lost Creek Canyon, just
to the north of Echo Reservoir?
That's neat, too! They had a
large landslide called Devils
Slide, and it is great fishing
up in Lost Creek Reservoir.

Re: Awesome canyon

Thanks. This canyon is located on the south side of Mount Timpanogos. The other Lost Creek Canyon sounds familiar but I cannot remember exactly. I’ve been to Devils Slide and Echo Reservoir but it was a long time ago.
