Great Boot
They are a little stiff initially and will take some breaking in. I owned an earlier version of this boot from North Face and got about three good years of abuse out of them. My old pair are actually still good boots for short hikes or working around the garden, but they no longer offer the support or have the sole required for a longer more difficult trip. I found the new boot does not have quite as comfortable of a sole as the old version, but overall seems to be a slightly better boot. They are completely watertight and can get a bit warm on a hot day. I have yet to get a blister with them.

These boots are hard to run down unless you order off the internet. Several places in Spokane and Missoula that carry North Face goods, didn't carry this item. But I was able to find them in Missoula for $140. Most places that do have them charge around $150.
