Product Description

The Rino 530HCX is a fully functioning GPS. It allows you to talk with your hiking buddies with an FRS/GMRS radio. It also has special polling features which gives you the GPS location of them as well. This can be convenient if you get separated on the mountain. It is like Instant messaging for the outdoor enthusiast.

Comparing the RINO 530HCx vs. the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx, the basic features are the same. However, the RINO adds a lot of capability with the FRS and GMRS radio features. The basis is essentially the GPSMAP 60CSx series, with rubberized buttons, GPS and radio antennas out the top, and a rocker button on the front that acts as a mouse to navigate around the screen to select options.
