Hickman Bridge trail
Freemont River
Hickman Bridge trailhead begins at the left side of the H24 and bridge over the Freemont River. This 2 mile one direction trail starts along the river bank and begins to climb to the hill for the view of the Rim Overlook and the great white domes of Navajo sandstone.
A small natural bridge called Nels Johnson Bridge is approximately 1 mile on right side of the trail. Points of interest along this trail are numbered and describe in a trail brochure, which is available at the trailhead.
This is a well marked and easy trail with an elevation gain of 400 feet to the Hickman Bridge. You will run into many hikers here.
