"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Route Climbed: Franconia Ridge Traverse Date Climbed: September 27, 2005Above the Greenleaf Hut, the wind blew the clouds away and it was a glorious summit day. A very clever piece of route finding to avoid the gendarme on the south ridge. Terrific views (even Washington eventually cleared). And every time I got tired on the Falling Waters trail I turned around and saw another beautiful waterfall!
