Route Climbed: water trail - ridge traverse - bridle path Date Climbed: June 2002  Sucess!

Water trail is beautiful and full of water cascades, duh. Ridgeline traverse is a BEAUTY! One of the best in the eastern US. Went over Lincoln and to Lafayette.

Route Climbed: Bridle Path to Greenleaf to Franconia Ridge to Falling Waters Date Climbed: December 28, 2005  Sucess!

Clear and overcast for the second of the two 5000 footers on the ridge. Felt like i could reach out and touch Washington to the East and Mansfield farther to the west.

Route Climbed: Franconia Ridge Traverse Date Climbed: September 27, 2005  Sucess!

Above the Greenleaf Hut, the wind blew the clouds away and it was a glorious summit day. A very clever piece of route finding to avoid the gendarme on the south ridge. Terrific views (even Washington eventually cleared). And every time I got tired on the Falling Waters trail I turned around and saw another beautiful waterfall!

Route Climbed: Franconia Ridge Traverse Date Climbed: Many times  Sucess!

A route that NEVER GETS OLD. You haven't visited New Hampshire until you do the Franconia RIdge Traverse. Mt. Lincoln has amazing views.

Route Climbed: Old Bridle Path - Falling Waters loop Date Climbed: many  Sucess!

Possibly the best day hike New England has to offer. Easy to see why it brings in the crowds.
