# The Polar Star is the most versatile headlamp going. The compact battery pack can be worn close to the body in cold weather to increase efficiency or it can be clipped to a waistband while running or working in tight quarters. The SuperBright LED provides enough brightness for trail navigation and around-camp chores. To top it off, the Polar Star's xenon light source provides users with a smooth, long-distance light field for any high-intensity activity. So if cold weather climbing or skiing is your game, the waterproof Polar Star has you covered. Tested to IPX waterproof standards. Requires 3 AA batteries; spare bulb included.

Well, at least it seems a little bulky compared to my Zipka. Also, the LED light function (it also has an xenon bulb) is not as bright as some other lights out there. The only neat thing about this light is the fact that you can keep the batteries in you jacket to keep them warm while using the light.
