Great buy
Yes, it's a bit pricier than other basic headlamps, but it's well worth it. The many settings offer the right amount of light for the optimal battery performance. My personal favorite is the sliding plastic which changes the headlamp from a flood to a focused beam. I definitely recommend this for your gear set!

Great Product
I've had other Petzl Tikka models before and always thought them great for the price. This one is pricier than most of their models, but well worth it. It is compact like other Tikka models but has 3 lighting levels plus the boost mode which gives 50% more light than maximum level for 20 seconds. I like the tiltable body feature to direct light where needed. Also has a battery indicator which warns when the batteries are drained 70% and then 90%.

In short, it's hard to beat the combination of versatility and size.

Versatile
Better battery life management with the different settings. Compact and reasonable weight given the features.

Great
I don't know why I didn't write a real review yet as I did add the page... I ahve had this head torch for about 3 years now. I have only needed to change the batteries twice despite using it regularly. I once put it through a full cycle in the wash in a jacket pocket by accident and it still worked perfectly afterwards. I like the boost function and the flood lens. I do wish it were slightly smaller but it is a great little light. Battery life is incredible. Durability is great.

Bright, Light, Durable
Worth the extra cash- nice battery life, really bright and durable. Buttons are a little hard to press wearing gloves, but would definitely buy it again.

Great Headlamp
This headlamp is the best one I've ever owned. It's really bright, it's high setting is brighter then my BD spot on the flood beam setting. It is also really durable, it has taken a massive beating and still works great.

Awesome
A great headlamp with good features. The red light "night vision" is great, when you need to get up at night in the tent and don't want to blind yourself or your tent mate.
