Just to start out.... THESE SHOES ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had these shoes approx 1 week, have bagged 3 mountains, 13 miles of hiking, 7000 vert ft..... AND NOT A SINGLE FOOT PAIN!!!!

I'm flat footed, heels are tender, and I hate most shoes period... THESE SHOES ARE THE BEST!!!!!!
From the second I put them on my feet they have been very comfortable, flex well and gave me not a single blister.

They are almost weightless, waterproof and very breathable. I give them very high regards!

Fantastic Shoes. I bought them about 4 months ago and have used them on an easy hike on Mendenhall Glacier, Alaska, other hikes in Alaska, and moderately tough hikes in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado. Fit incredibly well, great insulation, and work well even in storms. They are exceptionally good on uneven terrian, as they seem to adapt to wherever you place your foot. However, if you are careless enough to accidentally step in a stream (I admit this did happen), the Gore-Tex membrane that helps keep rain out will contain some of the water pretty effectively. But overall, this is the best hiking shoe that is not a boot that I have ever used. 5 stars. (You should be able to find this for less than $125 -- I got them from REI for $90)

Great Shoes, Short Life
These shoes have it all, waterproof, comfort, balance, agility, traction, etc. etc. etc. I have used them on countless 14ers and approaches to remote crags. I even used them for short weekend backpacking trips. I only have one complaint about these shoes though. They wear out really really easily. I was only able to wear them for a total time of 2 years before wearing down to the midsole, and destroying the goretex liner as well as the laces. I can still wear them around town, but are pretty much now worthless for any sort of outdoor activity. If you buy these shoes, be prepared to shell out another $100 within the next two years.
