I've owned a pair of Insights for about four weeks now, and have been very satisfied. I've worn the shoes on dirt, rock, mud, sand, and wet pavement, and they stick fiercely on all these surfaces. And with their obvious rock climbing heritage, it goes without saying that they climb very well for an all day/approach type shoe. My ankles are prone to sprains, which will prevent me from using these low-cuts on hikes with long scrambles and/or extended boulder hopping, otherwise I'd probably be wearing these on the majority of my fair weather day hikes. Durability remains to be seen, but for now its 5-stars.

I have these shoes and so far I've taken them on one multiday trip to the grand canyon. I use them as my primary backpacking trail shoes since I generally stick to the trails and don't do a lot of trailblazing. They are lightweight, comfortable and I like the way they look.

I bought these for the grip and they do deliver. They stick to every surface like glue at all sorts of crazy angles. The downside to this is that in descents, my feet tend to slide forward in the shoe and squash my toes a little bit. This gets a little uncomfortable and led to a couple blisters on the South Kaibab trail as the downhill miles built up. I'm not sure if this is due to the shoes themselves, the way I was lacing them up, or just a fact of life. I'm still giving the shoe 5 stars, but I will adjust this after in September after my next big trip if I can't sort this problem out.

I've been through one pair of these and recently bought a second. My experience with them has been nothing but that of satisfaction and comfort. I primarily use these shoes for summer scrambling in Colorado. They are comfortable, light, and stylish. The most useful aspect of this shoe is its rubber; ultra-grip material and varying traction patterns on the bottom of the shoe make it stick to literally anything, I have been impressed with what I can do with these in a climbing sense. Beyond that the shoe has excellent support and toe/side protection from scree and loose rocks, the shoe has always given me confidence to jump into a scree pile. It is an extremely stiff shoe and incredibly durable; I put around 600 miles of hiking, scrambling, and climbing on my fist five tens before a hole finally wore through the toe. I have since bought another pair and have been very satisfied.
