Product Description

The JanSport Whittaker XLT (Long Torso) is a great choice for summiting peaks like Washington's Mt. Rainier. The unbound edge and laminated shoulder straps with dual density foam and sternum strap rail for low-friction carrying comfort. With Top load access as well an alternative lower front access, getting to what you need when you need it is a snap. This pack was designed with Peter Whittaker of Rainier Mountaineering for week long trips.

Summit for someone freeby
I got this pack as part of my participation in a Summit for Someone climb. Wow what a stroke of luck! I have used this pack for every trip since. I have had never had a pack carry a heavy load to base camp so comfortably and then double as a summit pack like it was a day pack.
