Great guide
detailed route decriptions are helpful. Locating trailheads in Montana can be difficult and I find this guide to be accurate and quite descriptive.

Great resource
Not much of a climbing guide, of course, but this book covers a broad swath of Montana and served as the basis for several eye-opening day hikes and backpacks before I began planning such on my own with maps. Some of those outings led me to wander from the path and up the mountains, and so a love was born. What I like about this book and others like it is that they outline the route and leave you to discover the wonders along, and slightly off, the way.
