Always wanted to go in there to check out the guns, but there's always about a bazillion cars in the parking lot. Must be a zoo inside.

I have no idea what I'm even looking at here. Is this guy an employee or a customer?? Oh wait- they're doing a demonstration on how to look like a complete idiot and break your legs (arms, back, neck) at the same time. Maybe he's getting an extension cord un-stuck. Whatever he's doing, at least he knows where he is - he's got his trusty compass.

The compass is a nice touch.

Never been in a Bass Pro Shop, but the Cabela's in Reno is worth a stop and a half day even if you don't buy anything. Better than a natural history museum. Plenty of guns for ya too!

Just realized this is not a human. It's a mannequin. Look at how glossy the skin is.

I guess this is a "look what you can do if you buy our stuff" display.

I've always loved that crazy name- Rancho Cucamonga! It's just fun to say.

This is the same place a few months ago, that a lady got shot accidentally when an employee was showing another customer how to load a gun...

call me skeptical, but I find that really hard to believe.

A gun-loading demonstration is required by law in California for the purchase of a handgun. Most places use Snap Caps for that.

Why would they know what they are doing at that store more or less than any other :?:

He pulled the trigger of the .45 caliber handgun, apparently thinking it was unloaded because the magazine was removed. But the weapon went off from inside a bag, hitting a woman more than 100 feet away, grazing her in the buttocks.

1. Every gun is loaded.

2. Never point the muzzle of a gun at something you don't want to destroy.

That was two out of four.
