A Loch is the Scottish word for a lake or for the arm of the sea.
A lochan is a small loch which is generally found on the mountains of Scotland.

Threy may not have any altitude, but they are an integral part of our wild Scottish landsape.

Lovely Lochs !

What about boats? Is it fun to have a rowboat or canoe
on some of these Lochs??? Top 'o the mornin' to ya!
How 'bout a motorboat? Do you need a boaters permit???
