Interests & attitude:	I am based in Selah, which is near Yakima, game to go most anywhere in the NW. Always interested in multi-day wilderness scrambling & moderate technical climbs, plus backcountry skiing. I like the remote and uncrowded, less-popular areas. Have considerable firsthand knowledge of the WA North Cascades backcountry. Some of the areas I favor and visit frequently: The entire chunk of wilderness covered by the North Cascades National Park and Glacier Peak Wilderness, with a special emphasis on the crest of the Cascades from the Ptarmigan and Isolation Traverses, on up thru the Pickets, and the Chilliwacks at the head of Depot Creek; also the peaks around Fisher Creek, such as Logan, Arriva, Ragged Ridge. The Monte Cristos also get special mention. In the skiing department I am continuing to seek out new first multi-day traverses; this is the area where I feel I might be doing something original instead of following in others footsteps. In recent years this has included longish ski traverses along the ridges on both sides of Lake Chelan and in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
