Overview
Persailhorn is a 2.347m high mountain in ‘Steinernes Meer’, Berchtesgadener Alps in Salzburg. From the city of Saalfelden Persailhorn is easy to recognize because of its special shape. There are two Via Ferratas to reach the summit and an old route which is not frequently used anymore. The two Via Ferratas are a nice tour around Persailhorn. From the summit you can go on at the Saalfeldener Höhenweg to Riemannhaus (hut) at 2.177m and to the summit of Schönfeldspitze, 2.653m (unsecured path, II.)
