The Rappehörner 3176m summarizes two mountains: The Ober Rappehorn 3176m and the Rappehorn or Mittaghorn 3158m. The mountains are in Switzerland, in the Swiss canton Valais. These mountains are in the proximity of villages Binn and Bellwald and in the Goms valley and Rappe valley. To the south of the summit you find the glacier "Rappegletscher" and "Fäldbachgletscher". Rappehorn is a nice mountain in summer as well as in spring with ski. These mountains are "wild and lonely"

Getting There

With public transport:

From Berne with train to Kandersteg and across the Lötschberg tunnel to Goppenstein and Brig. Transfer in Brig to the Railway station Lax and change to yellow post bus to Binn.

From Berne to Kandersteg. With Lötschberg car transport train to Goppenstein and Brig. Afterwards to the village Lax and Binn in the Goms valley.
