Very good meal, let it sit in the pouch longer than recomended. Edit "For a freeze dried meal" it good...LOL

Mistake here!
I went on a last-minute backpack trip last spring and didn't have time to shop so I grabbed this from my son's stash. Absolutely the worst of several I have tried over the years....no taste and the texture was more like beef gravy with a few vegetables. I have learned over the years to buy the vegetarian entrees and should have done the same this trip.

I think this is the worst tasting product that Mountain House produces. Ok, the Eggs are worse, still. This stuff looks like puke, tastes like puke, with small little nuggets of dehydrated "meat" nuggets...
