This is a great light, As for battrie consumption this is one of the best because if the regulated out put, and the user's option to use diferent light setting's.I use it on my Petzl Ecrin Roc helmet and it fits great.I alos like the battrie box because it is easy to open with just a few twists on a thumb wheel,if your good you could change battries while wearing a thin pair of glove's.

A solid, suprisingly bright lamp.
This lamp has yet to let me down, it has fallen into several creeks, been to 6000 Metres, taken a few five metre falls and many beatings. It is is still shining bright. If one day it should die, I will buy another. Outstanding.
