On Sunday I went climbing at the newly open Safe Harbor craig Here in PA. I had a lot of fun and it was good getting my hands back on the rock after not rock climbing for about 6 months. I plan to go there a lot this summer as I will be less busy (complete school). So if anyone wants to climb or is in the area, please let me know! I'm always looking for new partners.

Here's the new climbing guide of the craig that was made by Eric Horst. He helped in the reopening of the craig, and is a pretty well known climber and author himself.

What's up peeps? I haven't been posting because, well, I haven't been hiking. Last time I put foot on trail was with Nartreb on Mt. Washington this past January. Work got busy. Family got busy. House got busy. Then I got sick and that knocked my down for about 6 weeks! But I'm feeling better and hope to hit the trails soon... maybe this weekend. I'll see how that goes, then I'll have to dream up something worth posting.

Sorry to hear about all the troubles. My own hiking has been curtailed the past year or more due to having to finish writing novels I was contracted to produce. Plus the knee surgery last year. But I'm out there from time to time. You will be, too. Looking forward to your great summitposts!

Who's got two thumbs and has moved back to paradise??? This guy!!! Landed a job in Pisgah National Forest and am finally back where I belong in the southern Appalachians...

Preliminary count is 209 waterfalls and a dozen 6,000-foot peaks within an hour of my new house...time to get started... :D :D :D

Cool! I wish I lived closer to the mountains. Two hours away is too far!
