Product Description

The XA Pro 3D Ultra Trail Shoe by Salomon is a great approach shoe due to its low weight and high durability.

The XA Pro 3D Ultra is a great pair of shoes. Great feeling while on the trail and broke in in a matter of minutes. No blisters!

Breathable mesh aids in increased airflow (read cooling) and stable tread pattern assist in dealing with the varied terrain that is faced when trail running or making approaches to climb. The shoe feels well built and has a Salomon’s advanced chassis system stabilizes the foot without taking the inertia away from movement. Great So Far!
After logging a lot of miles both on and off road during training season in Montana these shoes are holding up. Gives a consistent footplant and does not warm my foot as much as other shoes due to the breathable mesh. I really like these shoes!

Love them!
I just bought a pair of these with GoreTex about two months ago, prior to a trip to Ouray. My feet are a bit of a special case when it comes to buying shoes as I was born with severely clubbed feet and have had two corrective surgeries. They are very flat, with no arch whatsoever and I pronate inwards badly in almost every pair of shoes I've bought, save a very expensive pair of Brooks running shoes I bought about the same time as these. I work as a manager in a restaurant in order to help pay for college and am on my feet 8 hours a day during my shifts. Every other pair of shoes I have owned just simply can't support my feet well enough. I began wearing these to work as well as on my trip to Ouray and I've noticed that the more I wear them, the less my feet seem to hurt at the end of the day, in fact I can't remember the last time I came home and my feet actually hurt. When I bought them the foot pain was really getting as bad as I can remember it ever being, so to say these have helped is no light statement. My feet are visibly supported better, and I guess I can't say anything more about them. Some of the most supportive, best and most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I'd highly recommend them, especially to those with foot problems.
