IntroductionWhenever I am traveling to attend family events such as weddings I always plan side trips to places with mountains and the summer of 2010 we headed from New Hampshire to the Adirondacks for three days of sightseeing and day hiking. But alas, the weather was basically non-cooperative with high temperatures, low, heavy clouds, rain and thunderstorms.
This album highlights some of my favorite lake and water scenes other than in the Lake Placid area which will be another album. We found a couple of places that I consider to be the quintessential "Adirondack summer" scenes so I felt we had salvaged our trip after all. But then again, any time spent in mountains is time well spent as they say!
