Approach

Access the base of 'Bypass' via the same approach used for Zipa-De-Do-Da Buttress. 'Bypass' is located approximately 40 feet left of 'Aurora', near several boulders at the base of the buttress.

Route Description

Once at the base, locate a left facing crack that turns to an overhang (10' up). Pull the overhang (5.8) and up onto a large flake, passing two bolts along the way. Continue past a horizontal crack (pro to 1") and to the top of the flake (5.6 friction). Climb 15 feet past the top of the flake to a two-bolt chained belay (80'). These bolts can also be accessed by moving left across the large ledge from Aurora, Beat Farmer, Hole In The Wall and Snowball. Lower or rappel to the base. (Highly recommended route).

Essential Gear

60 meter rope, a few quickdraws and pro to 1"

NOTE: take care when rapping from any chained anchor. All links and wear points should be considered suspect!
