Dum Sum or Dan Sam (Dong Sum) Valley is one of the beautiful valley in the Karakoram Range. The valley is situated on the way when you are going towards Saltoro or Kondus Valleys from Khaplu.
Actually it is Dong Sum it means three big or high mountain in Balti language because this village located in the centre of three high granite walls.
