The Kobuk Down Jacket is the world's finest down jacket, hand built one at a time entirely in the USA.Redesigned in 2005 from the earlier sewn thru version, this new down jackets features a 1" fully baffled construction and the optimum volume of premium 800+ fill down. Comfortable elastic cuffs and shock-corded waist prevent cold drafts. We custom build these one at a time, so many options are available. We offer a genuine tailored fit in a down jacket.
Hand warming comfort and ample storage from two down filled hand warmer pockets front exterior. A two-way separating YKK front zipper is backed by a down filled draft tube with an anti-snag sailcloth zipper guard for smooth operation.
Filled with 10 ounces of our best 800+ fill goose down, weighing a total 18 ounces in size large.
For the truly ultralight enthusiast, we can omit the front pockets for a weight reduction of 2 ounces. Interior chest pockets are also an option, adding 25$ each. The optional snap-removable hood for the Kobuk jacket is a deluxe feature increasing it's comfort and cold weather capability.
